All of my transcriptions are in PDF form, originally done in Finale, and are available only in notation. I don’t use tab in my teaching or personally in my own playing, and I think notation is the most accurate representation. In general, I’m interested in producing transcriptions that are not available elsewhere, rather than repeating someone else’s work that is already published.
I try to be as accurate as possible in my transcriptions, but I occasionally get lazy when it comes to fadeouts and extended repetitive sections. I do believe in quality transcriptions that are done correctly. Too often I download the work of others that is simply not done well. I also highly recommend the transcriptions of Aidan Hampson.
